Jay is VP of Operations and Compliance who has been working at Opal for 11 years.
In his role, Jay oversees and optimizes the day-to-day activities and processes at Opal, interacts with each department, and assists with various client projects. He is a valuable asset, and we are proud to have him on the team!

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN YOUR CAREER?
After Law school, I decided to get into technology and started in sales, and then self-taught myself to customize code for demos, and eventually started coding. I had an opportunity to run a company, and ever since I have been more on operations and less on sales. Although everyone is always in sales.
FAVORITE OPAL PROJECT SO FAR?
My favorite project was the first Power Platform project we did for a parking company in Pittsburgh. I saw the potential of the Power Platform at a Microsoft conference and it was good to see it come to fruition with an actual project.
A PROJECT YOU HOPE TO WORK ON ONE DAY?
I would like to do an AI project that makes IT more self-sufficient for our clients.
FAVORITE TV SHOW?
My favorite TV Show is Suits, and favorite movie is A River Runs Through IT.
FAVORITE THING TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I love spending time with my family, whether on the boat, at an amusement park, football game, or just hanging out together.
