Microsoft’s next-gen AI Copilot is coming to Power Apps. The company has been incorporating GPT-based features into the Power Platform since 2021 with the ability to generate apps based on images and format data based on examples. If you thought the platform was already accessible for non-technical users, just wait until you hear what Copilot can do.

What is Power Apps?
Power Apps is a service for building and using custom business apps that connect to your data and work across the web and mobile – without the time and expense of custom software development.
How does Copilot enhance Power Apps?
In a nutshell, Copilot will enable users to build business applications through a natural language conversation in Power Apps. It uses your prompts to create a customized app, fully supported by a data table and back-end logic.
What can you ask Copilot? Here’s an example prompt from Microsoft: “Build an application to automate the manual process of creating and approving customer invoices.”
After submitting the initial prompt, you can continue the conversation with Copilot to tailor the app to your needs and get specific recommendations.

Even after your app is built, the conversation can keep going. Ask Copilot to reveal intelligent insights about your data, such as, “What is the average customer invoice?”
