Microsoft Completes Acquisition of Nuance

Microsoft has announced the completion of its acquisition of Nuance Communications, a speech recognition company that uses industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) to solve business challenges and transform the way people work.

As Microsoft leverages the conversational AI and ambient intelligence provided by Nuance, customers can expect to see enhancements in both specialized and overall areas of their business.

Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of the Cloud + AI group at Microsoft said, “Completion of this significant and strategic acquisition brings together Nuance’s best-in-class conversational AI and ambient intelligence with Microsoft’s secure and trusted industry cloud offerings.
