Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an advanced security method that verifies a user’s identity by requiring multiple credentials rather than just one form. Other than asking for a username and password, MFA requires additional information, such as a constant changing PIN code from the user’s smartphone, the answer to a security question, a fingerprint or facial recognition.
