Coming Soon: Microsoft Sentinel Content Hub

Microsoft Sentinel, formerly known as Azure Sentinel, is a cloud-native security information and event management (SIEM) platform that uses built-in AI to help analyze large volumes of data across an enterprise. Microsoft Sentinel is the modernized security solution for 2021 and beyond.

Microsoft continues to roll out new features that make Sentinel even more reliable for threat detection and mitigation. One of their latest solutions is the Microsoft Sentinel Content hub!

The Microsoft Sentinel Content hub serves as the replacement of the solutions gallery, which held Microsoft Sentinel solutions like data connectors, workbooks, and playbooks. According to Microsoft, the “Content hub provides centralized in-product discoverability, single-step deployment, and enablement of out-of-the-box solutions and content in Microsoft Sentinel.”¹

The “content” consists of SIEM content that customers can use to connect with available services in Microsoft Sentinel. The “out-of-the-box” content within the Content hub includes over 60 data connectors, 250 analytic rules, 100 playbooks, 150 hunting queries, and about 40 workbooks.

Microsoft Sentinel Content hub is currently available for public preview.

Other features that are in preview as of November 2 include²:

  • Near-real-time (NRT) threat detection rules
  • ML-powered Fusion engine can help find emerging and unknown threats
  • Fine-tuning threat detection rules
  • Geolocation and Whols data
  • Enhanced Notebooks area
