Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG), a major HR and payroll service provider, has been hit with a ransomware attack and is warning users of a long outage. The company claims that restoring operations could take weeks. In the meantime, Executive Vice President Bob Hughes is advising that UKG users “evaluate and implement alternative business continuity protocols related to the affected UKG solutions.”
